There is nothing about me that is not a dessert girl. I love a rich, indulgent, bakery-style treat as much as the next person (probably more). But lately, I need something that still satisfies that chocolatey craving but actually leaves me feeling good. Energized, not sluggish!! Nourished, not weighed down!

And as a mom, I also love having something on hand that I can feel really good about giving Norah as a little treat :)

These sweet potato brownies are exactly that. They’re soft, rich, and fudgy with just the right amount of structure (not gummy at all!!!), naturally sweetened, and made with simple ingredients.


Ingredients

3/4 cup mashed sweet potato

1/2 cup 100% maple syrup (or sub out for honey)

1 cup almond butter (or any nut/seed butter)
